Celebrating One Year of Laborers Rising—And We're Just Getting Started!


One year ago, a hundred laborers came together in Chicago to kick off a movement—Laborers Rising. We gathered with a shared mission: to protect our union work, strengthen our union lives, and build our power to one million members. We set a bold goal to move 15,000 laborers into action—and smashed that target six months ahead of schedule!

Local 1010 Shows up for NYC Parks

Local 773 Shuts Down "Right to Work" Event

Local 1010 Laborers Rise for Parks Funding


Local 1010 rallied on the New York City Hall steps before members testified at the City Council Parks Committee, Preliminary Budget Hearing as part of the Fair Play Coalition's fight for 1% of the City's budget to go to parks.

62 Chicago Laborers Take Polar Plunge


62 Laborers took the Polar Plunge today supporting the Special Olympics at North Avenue Beach this morning in Chicago. They raised nearly $20,000 and brought out not just the 62 plungers, but also many more friends and families from all over the Chicago District Council!
