62 Laborers took the Polar Plunge today supporting the Special Olympics at North Avenue Beach this morning in Chicago. They raised nearly $20,000 and brought out not just the 62 plungers, but also many more friends and families from all over the Chicago District Council!

27 members of Local 1092 volunteered at the Greater Chicago Food Depository and packed 13,824 pounds of bread, black beans, and potatoes. That is over 11,500 meals for families experiencing food insecurity in the Chicago area!
